All UT System employees must participate in one of two mandatory retirement programs: Teacher Retirement System (TRS) or Optional Retirement Program (ORP). ORP is only available for certain employees. Those employees will be notified of eligibility by the Office of Talent & Innovation.
Additionally, UT System offers two voluntary retirement programs: UTSaver TSA and UTSaver DCP.
