The Construction Risk Management Committee (CRMC) is a collaborative body through which institutions provide input on the construction risk management programs by providing advice and recommendations on the structure, policies and operations of the programs. This committee serves as the mechanism for the open exchange of information and ideas among Institutions and the University of Texas System (UTS) Office of Risk Management (ORM).
Construction risk management programs include, but are not limited to, the Rolling Owner Controlled Insurance Program (ROCIP), Builder’s Risk (BR) Program, construction safety, environmental programs, and where applicable, issues related to contracts, specification, project delivery, or related topics.
The CRMC is chaired by the UTS Chief Compliance and Risk Officer. Representatives from each institution and the Office of Capital Projects (OCP) are appointed by the institutional Chief Business Officer or appropriate official.
