The University of Texas System's WCI HCN will launch April 1, 2013.
The UT System is making every effort to make this launch as seamless as possible. To that end, each institution's workers' compensation insurance representative has been designated as the health care network point of contact.
The three basic responsibilities of employers are:
- Distribute the Notice of Network Requirements and Acknowledgement Form to new employees within 3 days of their date of hire. The packet will be available in both English and Spanish.
- Post a copy of the Notice of Network Requirements at each place of employment.
- Remind the employees who suffer an injury or illness at work about the network by providing them with an additional copy of the Notice of Network Requirements and an Acknowledgement Form for signature.
