As a group health plan sponsor, The University of Texas System provides this notice to you in compliance with the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) which was signed into law on February 4, 2009. If you or your dependent is covered or becomes covered under Medicaid or CHIP, you may be eligible for special enrollment rights and should contact the appropriate state agency as detailed in the notice.
