The FY 2026 holiday schedule has been posted. State agencies are allowed to observe up to 15 holidays based on national and state holidays outlined in the Texas Government Code (Sec. 662.003). Holidays falling on weekends are not counted, and only one holiday is observed when multiple fall on the same day.
