Event Description

Description:

Expectations for frontline officers to raise larger gifts in a shorter amount of time is becoming increasingly common in philanthropy -- not to mention competing for donor attention and the demand for more gifts. What’s a fundraiser to do?

New Approaches to Major and Principal Gifts will address these issues by providing new skill-building approaches to meaningfully engage donors, best practices for major gift work, and strategy sessions with your peers and seasoned professionals to develop a work plan that leads to greater success.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Discovering best practice approaches to major and principal gift work
  • Developing new skills to effectively secure major gifts in the shortest amount of time
  • Understanding new metrics and the importance of using a work plan to improve performance
  • Working collaboratively to advance your institution

This complimentary training also includes case studies, group exercises, and a panel discussion of senior professionals from academic and health institutions.

Who Should Attend?

UT institutional development and advancement professionals working as:

  • New and seasoned frontline officers
  • Managers of major and principal gift teams
  • Prospect managers and researchers
