2024 Advancement Academy Conference

The University of Texas System’s 2024 Advancement Academy conference and professional development summit will be held on December 11 and 12 at the downtown Hilton Austin (located at 500 E. 4th Street). This biennial event is tailored specifically for professionals from UT institutions working in development, advancement services and strategic communications – offering valuable learning opportunities to boost your expertise, effectiveness and impact.

Join colleagues from across the UT System for two days of professional development, collaboration and networking. National experts and industry leaders will share their insights and best practices across a range of relevant conference sessions.

Please register for the conference at your earliest convenience and click here to secure accommodations at the Hilton or call 800-236-1592 and reference the UT System Advancement Academy block. The registration fee for the conference is $350, excluding hotel accommodations and travel, and the deadline for all registrations is November 27.

The event kicks off with a luncheon and program on Wednesday, December 11, followed by an afternoon of professional development sessions of your choice. Day 1 will conclude with a reception with UT colleagues from all 14 institutions. The conference will reconvene the next morning, Thursday, December 12, with roundtable discussions over breakfast and additional professional development sessions. We will conclude with a luncheon hosted by Chancellor JB Milliken, who will present the traditional Chancellor’s Excellence Awards that recognize outstanding efforts in advancement services, fundraising, media relations and communications. Details on the Chancellor’s Excellence Awards and how to submit entries will be distributed next month
