Teaching has made me think more clearly and creatively. I am always looking for different ways to provide learning opportunities for students, and that might include interesting analogies, incorporating recent news stories, or asking provocative questions – anything to bring about that ‘aha’ moment. I am continually surprised that I have learned so much from my students. It is important to be open to new insights from students who bring their own life experiences into the classroom.
