I believe our mission as educators is to enhance the acquisition of knowledge by our students and help them become independent life-long inquirers and learners. Successful educators empower their students by helping them become the drivers of their own future. The critical challenge in this process is to instill in students the conviction that learning is fun and that knowledge is priceless in and of itself. To this end, I strive to make teaching and learning fun by providing a relaxed environment in the classroom, challenging students with questions that force them to interpret and analyze the material at hand, and allowing them the opportunity to freely exchange their ideas and opinions with their peers while tackling those questions.
