The best teachers are the ones who always remember what it was like when they were students, what they found difficult and what inspired them. They never lose the enthusiasm they had in those days and they serve as role models by continuing to be good students, themselves. They do this by bringing ideas from their own research into the classroom and by doing research on how their students learn so that they can continually improve as educators.
