My teaching philosophy is centered on two beliefs: first, that process-oriented learning (i.e., how to learn) is equally important to a student’s success as content-oriented learning (i.e., what to learn), and second, that knowledge acquired through active-learning is more enduring than that gained through the passive acquisition and memorization of “facts.”
