For me, the most rewarding aspect of teaching is the excitement from students as they suddenly understand something very challenging.
I feel my purpose in education is to motivate, to train and to create opportunities for students so they can go on to develop successful and satisfying careers. To do this, I work very hard to provide them an encouraging atmosphere, ensure they have access to modern resources for learning and mentor them through the process. These three ingredients (atmosphere, resources and mentorship) are the key ingredients to my teaching philosophy. A strong theme throughout this is to always be approachable and accessible to the students and to adapt to their individual learning needs.
