One of the more interesting and enjoyable challenges for educators is to innovate the ways in which we teach the students of today, in the context of today's health care, with the goal of shaping the health care providers of tomorrow. These innovations may include finding creative ways to bring students from different professions together to learn how to work as a team; or developing simulation-based training curricula that give students a chance to make decisions and experience the consequences of those decisions; or learning how to use new adult-learner classroom instructional methods to never give a PowerPoint lecture again!
