I try to share that passion with my students. It's great when I can excite students not just about the things they know they need to learn, but also about things they may never have thought about before. So I teach both a professional ethics course and two theoretical foundations courses to Computer Science students whose focus is on the programming skills that they know they'll need. I also write text books. I hope I've touched the lives of students I've never even met.
