Built environments are complex and always evolving, along with the people who inhabit them.
I am passionate about helping students recognize this variability and rate of change by allowing them to experience first-hand the impact of design on behavior and the surrounding context. Questions that I pose in the classroom emphasize critical thinking and listening and promote the development of problem-solving skills. As an enabler and trusted advisor, I guide students to have empathy and recognize the interconnectedness of their endeavors.
