The key to teaching is relating the material to the student's own experiences.
Thus, engineering should be taught within the context of the technology that surrounds us. In this way, the student sees the relevance of the subject matter and develops the interest and desire to learn it. That spark leads to curiosity about the world and a pattern of lifelong learning.
