UT System Regents to meet Sept. 18
AUSTIN – The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special meeting by telephone conference call on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in Austin.
The meeting will convene at about 2 p.m., and the Board of Regents will immediately recess to executive session to consider legal matters related to the House Select Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations and the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Fisher vs. State of Texas, et al. A standard agenda item for personnel issues also is posted.

The Board will reconvene in open session at about 3:15 p.m. to consider action, if any, on executive session items. The meeting is expected to adjourn at about 3:30 p.m.
Members of the news media may listen to the meeting in the Chairman’s office on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street. Parking for news media is available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 7th and 6th streets.
