UT System Regents to Meet on Oct. 22
AUSTIN –The University of Texas System Board of Regents of will hold a special called meeting via conference call on Monday, Oct. 22, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street.

The Board will convene in open session at approximately 10:00 a.m. to consider the approval of Giuseppe N. Colasurdo, M.D., as president at UT Health Science Center – Houston. The Board will also consider allocation of Permanent University Fund proceeds to UT institutions and a reauthorization of a land purchase for UT El Paso.
The Board will recess into executive session at approximately 10:15 a.m. to discuss security issues. Any action will be taken in open session prior to adjournment.
The Board will adjourn at 10:30 a.m.
