Points of Contact (POC)

Main page content

Each UT Institution has a Point of Contact (POC) designated by their institution’s leadership to be that institution’s interface with the UTRC Faculty Outreach Working Group (FOWG). The POC is generally a senior faculty member with broad knowledge of the research that is taking place on their campus. The FOWG will provide informational materials and assistance to the POC to facilitate the education of their faculty on how to access and make the best use of UTRC resources and assets to broaden their research programs. A particular goal of the FOWG is to help them to develop collaborations with other faculty irrespective of what institution they are affiliated with in order to substantially increase the competitiveness of UT faculty in obtaining extramural funding.
