Does your institution educate or want to educate students who reside in other states, using a curriculum made available online or through its physical presence there? If so, regulators in nearly all 50 states control the delivery of higher education and credentialing and may penalize non-compliant universities. The US Department of Education also regulates in this arena.

To simplify compliance, in 2015, the State of Texas joined 34 other states in a multi-state commitment called the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). This webinar will discuss techniques for making your institution compliant in distance education, including SARA-approval, using available forms and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The presentation will also address SARA’s limits, and alternate compliance techniques.
