Main page content

The Radiation Safety Advisory Group (RSAG) is comprised of representatives of the Institutions and various offices of The University of Texas System (UT System). Each Institution is represented by the individuals with institutional responsibility for ionizing and non-ionizing radiation safety.

Mission

The RSAG mission is to provide expert advice and recommendations to the UT System Environmental Health and Safety Advisory Committee in support of the development and implementation of appropriate programs in furtherance of the UT System Environmental Policy Statement and to serve as the mechanism for the free exchange of information and cooperation among Institutions and various offices of the UT System with regard to non-ionizing and ionizing radiation safety issues. The RSAG will support and facilitate cooperative efforts related to non-ionizing and ionizing radiation safety that are of benefit to the Institutions and the UT System.
