Terry Hull was named Interim Executive Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs effective September 1, 2021 upon the retirement of Scott Kelley. In this role, Terry will coordinate the Business Affairs divisions, including the offices of Finance, the Controller, Budget and Planning, Employee Benefits, the Chief Information Officer, Capital Projects Real Estate, and more.
Terry has served the UT System for more than 20 years. In his role as Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance, he was responsible for structuring and executing billions of dollars in long-term financings on behalf of UT, managing debt programs totaling over $11.2 billion, and overseeing all System treasury operations. He also serves as the administrative liaison to UTIMCO and previously served as Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Budget and Planning. Prior to 2000, Terry held various corporate finance and treasury positions at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). Terry is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and earned both his MBA in Finance and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
