TEXAS FreshAIR recruiting faculty to pitch research to pharmaceutical companies

University of Texas System health institution faculty members whose innovative research could lead to the development of a new drug or biomarker will have the opportunity to present to pharmaceutical companies at Texas FreshAIR’s inaugural meeting Sept. 25-26 in Austin.

All UT health institution faculty members who would like to pitch their research and network with numerous industry representatives at the FreshAIR event are invited to submit a one-page summary of their non-confidential research. The deadline for submission is May 10.

Texas FreshAIR (Academia Industry Roundtable) was developed by the UT System’s Office of Health Affairs to build partnerships between UT health institutions and pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies. The two-day FreshAIR event will connect UT researchers with senior pharmaceutical leaders and their scientific teams. It will be a unique forum to share cutting-edge science, engage in dialogue and ultimately forge collaborative research partnerships.
