UT System Regents to meet on Jan. 23
AUSTIN –The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 23, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street.
The agenda book for the meeting is available online. Reporters may print the agenda book as hard copies will not be available at the Board meeting.
Open sessions of the meeting may be viewed via a live webcast.
The committee meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Academic Affairs and Health Affairs Committees will hold joint meetings with the Facilities Planning and Construction Committee for discussion and appropriate action regarding the request for approval of the institutions’ list of projects as submitted to the Texas Legislature for Tuition Revenue Bond funding.
The Board will convene in open session at approximately 12:45 p.m. for any action on committee recommendations.
The Board will recess to executive session at approximately 1:00 p.m. to discuss personnel matters, legal matters and negotiated gifts.
The Board will reconvene in open session at approximately 2:00 p.m. for any action on executive session items.
The Board will adjourn at approximately 2:15 p.m.
