The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special meeting by telephone conference call on Monday, Jan. 13, in Austin.

The Board will convene in open session at 10 a.m. and immediately recess into executive session for discussion of individual personnel matters related to consideration of the employment contract for Charles R. Strong as Head Football Coach at The University of Texas at Austin. The board will reconvene in open session at about 10:50 a.m. to consider action, if any, on executive session items.
The meeting is expected to adjourn at approximately 11 a.m.
Members of the media may listen to open session portions of the meeting on the 9th floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street, and can check in at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 6th and 7th streets for parking.
