Mission

The mission of the Office of General Counsel is to lead and serve our nine academic and six health institutions and UT System Administration to proactively manage legal affairs and solve legal problems to achieve UT System’s overall educational mission.

E-Verify Frequently Asked Questions (74 FR 1937-01, 2009 WL 76661 (F.R.))

*The federal government has agreed to delay the implementation of the E-Verify requirements from January 15, 2009 to February 20, 2009.

*The Obama Administration has again delayed implementation until June 30, 2009.

*The effective date of the E-Verify requirement for federal government contractors and subcontractors has been delayed again, this time from June 30, 2009 until September 8, 2009.
