Chancellor Cigarroa and President Bailey to hold Q&A sessions at UTB and UTPA

The University of Texas System Chancellor Francisco G. Cigarroa, M.D., and UT Rio Grande Valley President Guy Bailey will visit the campuses of UT Brownsville and UT Pan American on Wednesday, June 25, for a question and answer session with faculty, staff and students.

Chancellor Cigarroa will provide an update on the transition process as the UT System prepares to launch UT Rio Grande Valley in August 2015. He will address administrative functions and day-to-day operations for both UT Brownsville and UT Pan American campuses for the 2014-15 academic year.

After sharing updates on the transition process, Cigarroa and Bailey will take questions from the audience.

At UTPA, the meeting will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Student Union Theater. At UTB, the meeting will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Student Union Gran Salon.
