Texas higher education leaders come together on sequestration

The attached letter, distributed to all members of the Texas Congressional Delegation, details the impact of sequestration budgetary restraint measures on basic research and educational programs at Texas universities.

In signing the letter, UT System Chancellor Francisco G. Cigarroa, M.D. joined leaders from Texas’ other major institutions of higher education including Texas A&M University System, Texas State University System, University of North Texas System, Texas Tech University, Southern Methodist University, Rice University, University of Houston and Baylor University.
