AUSTIN – The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System will hold a special called meeting via telephone conference call at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26.

The board will immediately recess into executive session to discuss legal and personnel matters. Agenda items include:

• UT Austin: Discussion and appropriate action regarding changes to a current contract, including a proposed change in the contract term, for Head Men’s Football Coach William Mack Brown

Any action will be taken in open session. The meeting will adjourn at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Reporters wishing to listen to the open session portion of the meeting may do so in person on the 9th floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street in Austin.

Parking for the news media will be available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 7th and 6th Streets.
