UT System Regents to Meet via Telephone Conference Call on August 9

AUSTIN – The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System will hold a special called meeting by telephone on Tuesday, August 9, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street.

The Board will convene in open session at approximately 2:15 p.m. and immediately recess into executive session to consider legal matters involving UT Southwestern Medical Center.

The Board will reconvene in open session at approximately 2:55 p.m. for action, if needed, on the executive session item and for consideration of an honorific naming at UT Arlington of the College Park residence hall as the Tom J. Vandergriff Hall at College Park..

The Board will adjourn at approximately 3:00 p.m.
