AUSTIN – The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special called meeting by telephone on Thursday, Nov. 6, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street.

The Board will convene at 7:45 a.m. and recess to executive session; agenda items include:

• UT Medical Branch – Galveston: legal issues related to recovery from Hurricane Ike
• UT Medical Branch – Galveston: discussion and appropriate action regarding individual personnel matters relating to the appointment, employment, evaluation, compensation, assignment and duties of UTMB employees

Any action will be taken in open session. 

Parking for the news media will be available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 7th and 6th Street.
