Regents' Committee to Meet September 30

The Audit, Compliance, and Management Review Committee of the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System will meet in Austin on Tuesday, September 30. The meeting will be conducted by telephone, with the primary location of the meeting designated as the Chairman's Office on the 9th floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th St.

Parking for the news media will be available at the guard kiosk on the alley between 7th and 6th Streets.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and includes the following agenda items:

  • Discussion of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
  • Approval of the Audit, Compliance, and Management Review Committee Charter.
  • Report on State Auditor's Office Financial Statement Audit for Fiscal Year Ended August 31, 2003.
  • Approval of U.T. System Internal Audit Plan for the 2004 fiscal year.
