Dr. Ricardo RomoDr. Ricardo RomoDr. Ricardo Romo was named president of UT San Antonio on February 10, 1999. Previously, he served as vice provost for undergraduate education at UT Austin since 1993. A historian who has written extensively on the history of Mexican-Americans and in the field of Chicano studies, Romo holds a Ph.D. from UCLA, a master’s degree from Loyola University in Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree from UT Austin. © 2016 The University of Texas System.
