The University of Texas System Administration and eight of its academic and health institutions recently garnered numerous awards in the annual Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District IV Accolades Awards Program, competing against over 200 institutions from surrounding states.
The awards program recognizes outstanding achievements in a variety of categories ranging from alumni relations and development to electronic communication, design and photography.
UT System Administration, UT Arlington, UT Austin, UT Brownsville, UT Dallas, UT San Antonio, UTHSC - Houston, UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center received recognition during an April ceremony in Houston.
The UT System Office of External Relations won two GOLD awards - one for its campaign to name the new UT university in South Texas (UTRGV) and one for a feature story on philanthropy. An Honorable Mention was given for UT System's 46th Annual Chancellor's Council Meeting and Symposium. To view a complete list of CASE District IV winners, click here.
CASE District IV is part of the national CASE organization and represents nearly 3,000 members from over 200 institutions in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and the Republic of Mexico.
